Prior to becoming a therapist, I was a Bilingual Second Grade Teacher for five years. I am bilingual in Spanish and English and is passionate about holistic methods of counseling and being culturally conscious as a mental health clinician. I aim to provide a safe space for clients to express themselves and believe building a strong rapport is necessary for healing. As a therapist, I use an integrative approach including DBT, ACT, Adlerian, Existential, CBT, and creative methods like Play Therapy (i.e. Sand Tray) and Art Therapy interventions.
