In Person and Telehealth

I believe that therapy is more than just talking about your problems; it is also about gaining new insight, learning more about your mental health, identifying unhelpful thoughts and beliefs, gaining psychological flexibility, learning how to overcome setbacks, and managing distress. I utilize practices from ACT, CBT, and DBT and I am working towards incorporating more mindfulness and body-based practices. I primarily focus on aiding people with generalized anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, mood dysregulation, and how these can be impacted by ADHD.

I am experienced in helping clients struggling with life transitions, difficulty letting go of the past, feeling alone or misunderstood, and not wanting to be defined by their mental health concerns. I am passionate about adapting my work to your individual needs and understand the importance of acknowledging external factors that may impact a person in their daily life. I do my best to “practice what I preach” and I truly understand how difficult it can be to create change in your life. I ask that my clients be open and willing to trust the therapeutic process and give it the time and effort that is required to create the life you want.

I want to support you in facing life’s many challenges even when you’re scared, feeling hopeless, or unsure of what will happen or where to start. I strive to offer an unbiased, non-judgmental, and empathetic ear as we work to identify and overcome obstacles towards building the life you want for yourself. I may not have all the answers, but I promise to provide whatever space you need to be your true self.
I’m happy to help, and hope to be a part of your healing journey.

In my spare time I love spending time with my husband, daughter, and our four animals. I also enjoy reading, watching TV, exploring local events, and going hiking.
